Negroni

The Negroni is a variation of the popular Americano. It goes back to Count Negroni, who around 1920 had his bartender replace the soda in his Americano with gin and the lemon with an orange zest. Simple idea, great result. The botanicals integrated into the Niederrheiner Gin harmonize perfectly with the flavors of wormwood and Campari. The preparation is very easy and you can enjoy a great cocktail in no time.

Ingredients & Preparation

3 cl dry gin
3 cl red vermouth (e.g. Antigua Formula)
3 cl Campari
1 orange zest
Ice cubes (ideally one large ice cube)

Preparation:

Add equal parts gin, vermouth and Campari to a tumbler with ice. Garnish with an orange zest and you’re done!
